Page Expired on EM12c

If you leave a EM12c page open for a while. this is eventually what you will see on the browser and then you need to enter password for all your EM12c pages.

Most probably this is for security but who needs security 🙂 lets make life more enjoyable and disable this feature.

[oracle@testserver ~]$  cd $OMS_HOME

Get The Max Inactive Time

[oracle@testserver bin]$ ./emctl get property -name oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime

Value for property oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime at Global level is 240

Set to -1 or Set to A Duration in Minutes

[oracle@testserver ~]$ ./emctl set property -name oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime -value -1
Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c Release 3  
Copyright (c) 1996, 2013 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
SYSMAN password: 
Property oracle.sysman.eml.maxInactiveTime has been set to value -1 for all Management Servers
OMS restart is required to reflect the new property value

To Activate, OMS Requires Start&Stop

[oracle@testserver ~]$ ./emctl stop oms -all
[oracle@testserver ~]$ ./emctl start oms 

Now your pages will newer expire.
